Cape Hope Paragliding is a family-run tandem paragliding company in Cape Town. Our team is led by Francois de Villiers, the 2026 South African Nationals Champion, who learned to fly from his father. Flying is part of our everyday lives, and sharing it with you is why we do this.
You don’t need any paragliding experience. You fly with a qualified tandem instructor who explains what to do before take-off and landing, then handles the flying while you enjoy the view. Our instructors hold SAHPA tandem qualifications and SACAA licences.
We launch from Signal Hill or Lion’s Head, depending on the wind and conditions on the day. Expect views of the Atlantic coastline, the city and Table Mountain. Your instructor chooses the launch site; every flight is shaped by the weather.
